Softsasi Vaccine Policy

Effective Date: 7 April, 2024

Purpose:

The purpose of this policy is to outline Softsasi's guidelines and expectations regarding employee vaccination against the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) virus. This policy aims to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, clients, and visitors.

Scope:

This policy applies to all employees of Softsasi, regardless of their position or role within the company. It includes full-time, part-time, contract, and temporary employees.

Policy:

  1. Requirement for Vaccination:

Softsasi strongly encourages all eligible employees to get fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Full vaccination refers to completing the recommended dosage of the approved vaccine(s) in Bangladesh.

  2. Documentation:

Employees must provide proof of vaccination status to the HR department. This can be in the form of a vaccination card, certificate, or any official document issued by a healthcare provider or authorized government agency.

  3. Confidentiality:

Any information regarding an employee's vaccination status will be treated as confidential medical information. Only HR personnel directly involved in managing this information will have access to it.

  4. Accommodation for Non-Vaccinated Employees:

Softsasi recognizes that some employees may have valid reasons for not being vaccinated, such as medical conditions or religious beliefs. Such employees are required to inform HR of their vaccination exemption status.

Non-vaccinated employees may be required to follow additional safety protocols, such as regular testing for COVID-19, wearing masks in the workplace, and adhering to social distancing guidelines.

Softsasi will make reasonable accommodations for non-vaccinated employees to perform their job duties while maintaining a safe work environment.

  5. Return to Office:

As Softsasi gradually transitions back to office-based work, vaccination status will play a role in determining return-to-office protocols.

Employees who are fully vaccinated may have priority in returning to the office, subject to local health guidelines and company policies.

Non-vaccinated employees may continue remote work arrangements if their role allows for it. However, if their job requires on-site presence, they must comply with safety protocols.

  6. Educational Resources:

Softsasi will provide employees with access to credible information about COVID-19 vaccines, their efficacy, safety, and the importance of vaccination.

Employees are encouraged to consult healthcare professionals for any questions or concerns about COVID-19 vaccination.

  7. Compliance:

Failure to comply with this vaccination policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Disclaimer: Softsasi acknowledges that individual circumstances related to COVID-19 vaccination may vary. The company will strive to accommodate employees while maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all.

Review and Updates:

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it aligns with the latest guidelines from health authorities and government regulations. Any updates or changes to the policy will be communicated to all employees.

Approval:

This policy is approved by Softsasi management and is effective as of the date specified above.

Employee Acknowledgement:

By continuing employment with Softsasi, employees acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms of this vaccination policy.
